Programs: Alumni Authors

Alumni Authors

UCSC, with its emphasis on critical thinking, interdisciplinary thought, and intellectual innovation, has produced more than its share of published authors. These talented writers are graduates from the campus' earliest days to the present. The pages of their books are filled with subject matter of every description, from poetry and art to science and social change. The UCSC Alumni Association is proud to showcase its alumni authors.

The Alumni Association's Alumni Authors Library is a constantly growing collection of books, CD's, computer software and videos authored, co-authored, edited, illustrated, published, translated, photographed, and/or produced by UCSC graduates. At present, library holdings are proudly displayed in the beautiful Ringold Rotunda at the University Center, which opened in 2003.

If you are a UCSC graduate interested in contributing a copy of your published work to the UCSC Alumni Authors Library, mail submission(s) to: Alumni Association . Carriage House/UCSC . 1156 High St. . Santa Cruz, CA 95064. For more information, contact the Alumni Association. E -mail alumni@ucsc.edu or call (831) 459-2530 or toll-free, (800) 933-SLUG.
